You were never told to make changes in your life without asking the Lord for help, and we were always reminded not to be discouraged when change was slow.1. You get the impression that we’re all in this together, so we need to help each other out! That is what impacted me the most about this part of the study though the questions were hard the encouragement was equally balanced. There is no, “on page 109 there is a testimony about so-and-so, what changed their life?” Each one of these questions takes you over the material in the book and then asks you to be honest with yourself and work through what areas need attention in your life.Ĭonclusion: This is a great study guide! The writing style is challenging, but, friendly. You have to answer each one from your heart. Some study guides are more like a “copy and paste” thing - you read the question, then go back to the book and write the answer out word for word. The second thing I liked very much were the questions. If you’ve done other study guides and found that the opening paragraphs to each session are direct quotes from the book - which you more than likely just read if you’re doing the guide while reading the book - then I’m thrilled to tell you that isn’t the case with this one! You can read every word written and really feel like the author is having a one on one chat with just you. The first thing that I loved about this study guide was how all the content was unique to it. This is the second study guide I’ve done with my best friend and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking to grow in their walk with God. Living Crazy Love is the study guide for Francis Chan’s book, Crazy Love. Seldom is a book published without a companion study guide for small groups or personal reflection.
